The wide variety of work we undertake presents a fantastic opportunity for local businesses and community members to donate to the work that best fits their values.
- Donations of prizes for events - We run large scale events for our community throughout the year, which often include raffles or competitions. We’re always grateful to accept donations of prizes that can not only raise funds, but put a smile on the faces of our community.
- Sponsoring Events - Our events are promoted across the community, and with this option all that promotion could carry your company’s name and logo: let us do the work of getting your brand in front of people and demonstrating your dedication to community spirit.
- Donations - When you donate to a local charity like us, you have a say in where your money goes. Our Business Development Team will work closely with you to make sure your donation is used in a way that matches your values. You could donate to cover the cost of an activity or trip for local families, or sponsor a member of support staff who will help those same families overcome barriers to success in their lives.

Volunteering and Student Placements
Like any charity, volunteers play a key role in allowing us to relieve stress on budgets and have an impact beyond what we could achieve on our own.
We always have flexible opportunities open for volunteering, whether that be for individuals to read with children at local schools or your whole work team to help us with some overdue DIY.
Volunteering gives you a welcome change of pace, and a chance to work hand-in-hand with us to improve the community.
We can create volunteering opportunities to suit a variety of needs, as well as having ongoing opportunities around the Hub and with The Bread and Butter Thing. Contact [email protected]
We are also proud to contribute to the education of the next generation of professionals by offering placements to students from a variety of courses and settings. From giving SEND students a chance to try work for the first time in our café, to giving Psychology students a chance to learn on the front line, we can offer learners a chance at real experience in a safe and managed environment.
